I just read an entry on THE NEW PAPER a few days ago regarding the state of the "pasar malam" or the night market in Singapore.

This is what i have to say..

Well, yes i do agree that the influx of people coming to the night market has a hit a new low since well..THERES TOO MUCH OF IT!
During the fasting month.. yes..it was appropriate to have one since during the Ramadan, our taste buds need a new flavour almost every weekend and most have working parents. So, cooking became an irritance.
But now,theres one too..

But why??????

And i have to say..stepping into the pasar malam near my house was a deja-vu nightmare. The stalls were practically the same. The food on offer. The items that was on sale. WTH . Come on people!! Have some change!!

The food were very similar in every pasar malam on offer in Singapore. Items that was on sale..well,as usual..nail clippers,scissors,underwear,shirts,etc...the SAME stuffs.

Boringggggggggggggggg.....
if i had a stall..hmm...
i would see IT stuffs!

I miss those times!

During the early 2000s..i was fired-up when a night market came along. Why?? The amount of pirated games on sale.WOW.that was great(if only every stall had one of those...)

And pirated softwares....Windows..you know the whole gabosshhh...they were sold at a relatively lower price that their "ori" counterparts. But i dont know whether they actually work.

(Todays post seem random,i know. Its one of those days uh)

Ever since our eyes lock on for the first time you made my heart stop beating the sad drums of pain and emptyness
